It saves on both propane use and water, and also takes up less than half the space and only one-third the weight of a conventional 10-gallon RV water heater.

The does not come with an access door, you need to choose one of these 4 options:

• Access Door, Polar White (Suburban) - The access door to choose for a new install or when replacing a Suburban 6-gallon water heater, polar white color door (16" x 16").
• Access Door, Polar White (Atwood) - The access door to choose when replacing an Atwood 6-gallon water heater, polar white color door (19.5" x 19.5").
• Access Door, Polar White (Suburban/Atwood) - The access door to choose when replacing a Suburban/Atwood 10-gallon water heater, polar white color door (19.5" x 19.5").
• Access Door, Black (Suburban) - The access door to choose when replacing a Suburban 6-gallon water heater, black color door (16" x 16").
